As many of you know, working out has been my ballast for me
ever since I arrived in Haiti. Baring
some set backs like an sore knee and/or scheduling conflicts, I almost always
go to boot camp or workout independently.
It’s relaxing and helps keep me sane here. Science has proved it. Today was no different from any other, except
that I gave blood earlier.
That itself was a big mistake, but the intense heat
transformed a challenging workout into a downright difficult one. I should have sat this one out, but I pushed
through it as thoroughly as I could and consequently, I almost passed out by
the end. And then I threw up.
Everywhere.
